What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Visitors appreciate the Victoria Public Market at the Hudson for its diverse gourmet food offerings and the unique atmosphere within the historic Hudson building. While some find it smaller than anticipated and occasionally lacking in vendor variety, the quality of food and convenient downtown location are consistently praised. It's a good spot for a casual lunch with unique culinary options.
"I was expecting a Vancouver-style market with a variety of groceries, food, and desserts, where you can also sit down to eat. While this market does offer all that, it's much smaller than it appears in photos, with only about 20 cafes. It isn't too crowded, but the atmosphere is lacking, and it doesn't feel very cozy. That said, the food served by the establishments here is still great."

"It's a cute market. It didn't have too many businesses when I visited, which is a shame because it's a great location."

"Neat find, right above Chinatown. Lots of locals popping in for lunch. Less of a market, more a co-op kitchen/food court. Will definitely go back and take my kids as we love trying new cuisines and some of the options aren't available where we live.
Wish there was a bit more to it, more of a destination and mix of shops and restaurants."
