"Honestly, for what you get in Barrie, come to this beach instead. Its worth the drive and worth the money. Beautiful and private beach that isn't riddled in senseless bylaws. Stunning views (see photos) Beautiful sand. And warmer waters than I have come across this summer and believe me I have visited quite a few locations especially on this trip. Parking costs are standard for these parts, and from the parking driveway to the beach is all sand. Come prepared for that. Bathrooms are clean enough (atleast during my stay) and the water is also pretty decent. Beyond the first layer of seashells the sand gets pretty nice and smooth. 10/10 highly recommend for a nice picnic by the waters. Please also respect the local atmosphere and NOT LITTER! The beach area is gorgeous especially for a sunset. Keep it that way as I plan to come back!"

"A Terrible Experience at Allenwood Beach
We went to Allenwood Beach hoping to find some peace and quiet, but unfortunately, we had a terrible experience. This beach, which is supposed to be relaxing, was completely taken over by noise and chaos.
A group of Indian-origin people were playing music incredibly loud, which completely ruined the calm atmosphere for everyone. It was so bad that it gave us a severe headache. This kind of inconsiderate behavior and harassment of others in a public space is completely unacceptable.
To make matters worse, these individuals completely disregarded local rules and lit a fire, even though there were signs clearly stating that fires are prohibited. This behavior not only shows a lack of respect for Canadian laws but also demonstrates that they are still operating with tribal customs and have no regard for the host community.
Sadly, there were no patrol officers or law enforcement present to address the situation and enforce the rules. This shows a lack of proper management at the beach, allowing inconsiderate people to disrupt the peace and quiet of others with no consequences.
If you are looking for a quiet, family-friendly spot, I absolutely do not recommend Allenwood Beach. It desperately needs better management and rule enforcement to ensure a pleasant experience for all visitors."
