What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Visitors rave about the stunning views and diverse trail options at Rose Valley Reservoir, suitable for hiking, biking, and family outings. While generally well-maintained, some trails lack clear markings, and awareness of fast-moving bikers is crucial. Mosquitoes can be a nuisance in the evenings.
"We did the city on the edge of forever hike. It was ranked Hard. However I do not rank this hike as hard. Yes they are some steep points but it is very manageable. The whole hike was around 3 hours with lots of stops for snacking and pictures. It was around 17T steps. The trail is very well maintained but you must have a map because it is not marked well and you can’t find the view point without the map. You need to share the road with bikers which they go really fast so be careful on the trail. The hike itself was perfect lots of interesting points on the was to the top and the view on the top was perfect. I really recommend this hike."

"There was a beautiful viewpoint about 15 minutes up the trail, and then you can continue to the peak where there’s an even more amazing view! I liked how there was a variety of trails to get up and down. The trails were well-marked and I found it easy to get to where I wanted to go. Would definitely recommend!"

"Great place for a hike or to go biking. Very peaceful, scenic and hike wasn't that difficult. There is a bench half way up with beautiful views of Kelowna. Remember to wear bug spray as we went at 5pm and mosquitoes were going crazy ."
