Reviews Summary

Visitors rave about Hollyburn Mountain's stunning views, especially during sunset, and its appeal as a year-round destination for hiking and snowshoeing. The 'Lights to the Lodge' trail is a winter highlight. Some find the trails steeper than expected, and parking can be a challenge on busy days.

"Great hiking destination for both summer and winter! Quickest one among three Cypress mountains. Don’t quite need snow shoes but do bring a plastic bag to slide down on in winter. Never seen so many adults having fun sliding downhill. That of course includes myself! Such fun!"

Kanako Sakurada

"March 8: There is a mix of light and heavy snow, making visibility poor. Cars with low clearance may get stuck in the snowbank at the parking area."

Oscar Poon

"I love this place!! This is my 2nd time snow shoeing and it's the same pristine quiet mountain as before. But it feels way steeper than before. Either that or I've gotten out of shape hehe.

There's really nothing to review. The parking is plentiful, the view is great, and there are even rentals that aren't insanely expensive.

I do recommend bringing poles though. It gets very tiring, especially near the top of the mountain. The rental shoes aren't so bad."
