What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Visitors rave about Lost Lake Park's stunning natural beauty, especially the picturesque lake reflections and surrounding mountains. The easy walking trails and sandy beach are perfect for families and casual visitors. However, the extremely limited parking and potential for large crowds are significant drawbacks for many.
"Beautiful place for summer or winter walk. Needed spikes since snow/slush cover before winter snow. Nordic center not open yet so no trail fees. Wonderful rippling creeks, bridges and trails around the lakes. Amazing views of the mountains. Bathrooms were open but not the warming hut at Lost Lake. Picnic tables and benches to rest and soak in the view."

"Went before 10am got one of the limited parking spaces. It’s a simple beached lake. Water is icy cold with platforms to swim to. Shallow for a few meters for kids to play. Very clean feeling. Very wide and maintained path to walk around the lake about 20 minutes for the basic loop. Some branching paths at the far end."

"An easy, accessible and picturesque walk.
We started in Whistler village and made our way through the Valley trail to Lost Lake PassivHaus. The early May weather was cool and clear.
An easy path winds up a slight incline to reach the Lost Lake Loop.
There are several alternative tracks that parallel the main one and offer a better woodlands experience.
The loop itself has wonderful views of the surrounding snowcapped mountains reflecting on the cold, clear water.
Take a picnic lunch to eat at one of the many clear spots dotted along the shoreline. There are swimming pontoons for those brave (crazy) enough to take a dip.
After circuiting the lake clockwise, we returned to the village via the road on the other side of the creek.
Took about 3 hours with a nice 20 minute break.
Well worth the effort."
