"The Memorial Park in White Rock Marine Dr.
This is a lovely area to spend the day or evening, just going for a walk.
It was recently rebuilt. It encompasses several seating areas (colosseum style ), also it has a very nice green area; here your children can play, and relax. Bring your blanket or towels. On the central area. the Spanish steps leads to the pier and walkway. And to the left the great mirador. Were you can view the ocean and the sunset.
On the cement area, there is a fountain. The water springs a delightful pressure from the ground up.
Children love to play in it. They don't know when the water will change course and the anticipation intrigues them...they seem to have a lot of fun.
Is very safe for everyone. Also at night there are some ground light in various colours. Toddlers have a lot of fun with them.
Recently the city of White Rock put a few picnic tables for family to be in their on cluster enjoying the park and the beach.
Last year. During the summer there were free concerts. People were dancing. No too crowded, seems like a lot of fun.
During Christmas time, the local business bring their Christmas trees all very well decorated.
Overall your visit to the park is going to be very pleasant.
