What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Visitors consistently praise the Teatro Universidad de Concepción for its comfortable seating, intimate atmosphere, and well-organized events, making it a beloved cultural landmark. While the venue generally offers excellent visuals and audio, some reviews note that sound quality can vary by seating section and mention minor maintenance needs in older areas like the balcony. Despite these small points, the theater is highly recommended for its diverse programming and contribution to the region's arts scene.
"Loved 'Jerhro Tull;' loved the venue. Big, comfortable seats. Intimate. Well-organized. We were seated by ushers. Absolutely no seat-confusion. The crowd was genial. Thoroughly enjoyed the music, but...
one of the speakers buzzed throughout the concert despite a sound tech trying to fix it during the concert."
Bruce Gayle
"Good concerts program, well located"
Andres Chile
"The theater staff was friendly, except for one elderly employee who turned off the lights while the audience was taking pictures with the artists. The rest were fine, well-positioned. The sound in the lower stalls would be better than in the upper stalls and balcony. Perhaps they should use the same line arrays instead of the overhead speakers they currently have."
