What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Visitors praise the Casa de la Cultura for its free entry and the engaging historical exhibits that cover a wide span of Iquique's past. The friendly staff and the unique atmosphere of the historic building are frequently highlighted as positive aspects. Some areas are noted as being under renovation, with occasional debris, but this doesn't significantly detract from the overall positive experience.
"It is an easy place to get to, with large rooms and the people who work there are very friendly.
Ideal for exhibitions
Thank you very much House of Culture"
Laura Leòn
"Very spacious inside, with well-ventilated rooms. It's clear they're trying to maintain the old infrastructure, which I think is a good idea. However, not all bathrooms are operational, and some areas are littered with debris and construction materials. It's understandable that they're in the process of remodeling and it takes time, but I think the least they can do is clean and organize these spaces when they have time. It doesn't affect the experience as such, but I think it's important to highlight it nonetheless."
Manuel Valero
"The museum is very nice. They also store your belongings for you, and the staff is very attentive and friendly."
