What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Bus Sur receives high marks for its clean, comfortable buses and friendly, professional staff. Travelers appreciate the onboard amenities like WiFi and restrooms, making journeys pleasant. While border crossings and ferry waits can cause delays, the overall service is highly recommended for its reliability and efficiency in connecting Patagonian destinations.
"We took the Bus Sur from Ushuaia to Punta Arenas. It is scheduled to take 11 hours and we ended up driving 12.5 hours. The drive was really pleasant. The only two negative things were that we had to wait at the border crossing for 1 hour and it was quite inefficient as we first stamped the passport amd then waited again to scan our luggage. There was only one counter open even though there were around six people working there. Once all of the bus got there passport stamped we waited another 15 minutes to even get the luggage scanned. The next negative thing was at the ferry. We waited for two hours to get on the ferry. Nobody told us what was going on and they didn’t inform us about anything. We arrived at Punta Arenas at 20:30 instead of 19:00. We paid around 48$ for the bus trip from Ushuaia to Punta Arenas."
