Reviews Summary
Parque Forestal is widely praised as a beautiful and vibrant urban oasis in Santiago. Visitors love its green spaces, sculptures, and the lively atmosphere, especially on weekends. It's a great spot for relaxation, picnics, and enjoying local culture, though some find the views from certain points can be obstructed by trees.
"Visiting the monument at the top of the highest hill is one of the many worthwhile spots in Parque Forestal. It is possible to reach it on foot, but due to the heat that day, we took an Uber to the monument’s entrance. From there, a good number of steps lead up to the impressive structure—an architectural achievement with a rich history and a great view over Mendoza. However, the now-grown trees somewhat obstruct the panoramic view of the city. We walked all the way down towards the Ecopark, which was a nice descent. If using Uber, it’s helpful to"

"Beautiful building and cupula. I was, however disappointed with the current exhibitions. Perhaps it was me, I just could appreciate nor understand what was displayed. Sundays are free, so no big loss for me;)"
Elvier Yemaya
"We stayed in a hotel adjacent to this parque. It always seems to have plenty of locals enjoying the walks and the grassy places to lie down for a nap. On a Saturday there was continuous free entertainment for children. There are plenty of benches for sitting and dogs are welcome."
