Chengdu, China noodles and wontons in a hidden apartment complex ⬇️ Big thank you to @chengdufoodtours (on IG) for recommending this spot! By far one of the most memorable experiences of our trip was meeting the owner of this small restaurant who is serving recipes passed down from her own mom. The wontons and noodles were about $2 CAD each and I’ve never had noodles and wontons quite like these...

"Super awesome & really a good experience to learn & try Sichuan cuisine. The environment is pretty good in my opinion sort of like a reasonably well oiled canteen, lotsa trees surrounding. Lotsa Sichuan snacks, very crowded depending on time"

WaiTuck CHONG

"It is a very interesting museum about the food of Sichuan. There are displays and exhibits about how bean paste (the soul of Sichuan food) is made, and how soy sauce is made. There are also activity centers and live demonstrations. There is a courtyard full of stalls that is an "all you can eat" concept, that allows you to try all sorts of Sichuan food. It is an interesting and fun concept, but unfortunately a lot of the food was not good in quality, and the seating area was also very dirty."
