"Yes, it is yet another tourist attraction in China’s grand scheme of things. Expect some international brand names, cafès, hip music and live performances on weekends and on a few other evenings. But scratch the surface and you find a whole host of homegrown handiwork and ardent artists also plying their trade. From handmade leather goods and gelato to paper cutting and ceramics, Lingnan World is a smorgasbord of independent crafts showing what they love and can do. Price point is generally affordable although some specialty items can seem dramatically dear. Have your pick of perfumes, infusions and finery.
