It is located in Wujin District, Changzhou City, Jiangsu Province. It is the second largest lake in southern Jiangsu after Taihu Lake. It is connected to Yixing in the south, the Yangtze River in the north, Taihu Lake in the east, and Changdang Lake in the west.
