Reviews Summary

Visitors rave about the incredible variety and affordability of goods in Guangzhou's wholesale markets, especially for clothing. While the sheer scale can be overwhelming and quality varies, the opportunity to haggle and find unique pieces makes it a must-visit for shoppers and business buyers alike. Be prepared for crowds and the need for careful inspection. Reddit

"They do sell in single pieces instead of bulk wholesales. The ground floor level has more modern young fashionable clothing and accessories shops. The higher floors consist of more matured clothing fashion. However, there are little gems of beautiful clothing shops. End up buying 4 pieces of work casual wear. You can haggle prices here but ensure you have real intention to purchase before you haggle. Quality of clothes are real good too."

Carmen A

"There are 3 or more mall beside each other. APM, Baima (white horse), Yima (one horse). You can either cross the road or through underground route. Each and every area mentioned they sell clothes that is quite generic. If you can't find what you like, the other shop have it for you. My advice like almost everyone been here is to bring a luggage if you think you will buy more. I didn't, so I had to carry the bag of my purchase around. If that doesn't bother you. That's good.
Level 1 and 2 (Yima) - female clothes
Level 3 till 5 (Yima) - male clothes
Level 6 - 9 (Yima) - business attire

The trick is to walk around first, do not settle on the first store you find. I recommend that you ask to try it on - there is a fitting room located at the toilet. No it is outside the toilet incase you're about to ask. So don't worry. Also, for those who are new - no you do not need to buy from a particular store. You can say "let me think about it first, I'll go and walk around". Most importantly, remember they're not original brand but even counterfeit looks good just remember that bit. Also, when you leave the area there will be people asking you whether you like to see 100% counterfeit products like watches and bags. Becareful, just take note.

Baima is just opposite of Yima. You need to cross the road. You can get there from level 1 of Yima. I think Baima is for mature customers. If you want stylish clothings of the current times. Yima is enough. APM is just beside Yima. You do not need to cross the road to be there. Word of caution. Ladies this is probably heaven for you, guys at this moment. They don't have alot for you. At the time of this review - male section is only at level 5 of APM.

Another word of advice, make sure you drink plenty of water and rest well. If you are going to take your time looking. Smile and be respectful to them because everyone there is working while we are tourist. Learning a little Mandarin is also good because it help facilitate smooth transaction."

"This is a huge market with variety of stuff available, if you get the right shop and know how to judge the quality along with good bargaining skills you will love it. Secondly plan after 12.00pm since they have lunch hours before that and might find many shops closed"
