What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Visitors find Seven Star Cave to be a visually impressive natural wonder, with its vast array of stalactites and stalagmites offering a glimpse into geological artistry. The guided tours are highly recommended for enriching the experience by providing context and stories that bring the formations to life. However, some visitors are wary of the 'free' photo opportunities, which often lead to upselling more expensive prints.
"We visited on Easter Friday (a public holiday in many places but Not in mainland China) so it didn’t feel busy.
Group guided tour (in mandarin) is available every half an hour, which I think the stories being told were crucial for the experience / enjoyment of the cave because it can take a lot of imagination when looking at stones of such unique formations.
They offer “free photoshoot” at certain spots in the cave, the free 3”x5”printouts were disappointing because the actual photo of you is about 1.5”x2” with a lot of standard advertising shots in the background, but then they sell nicer framed photos for RMB35 each… a very smart way to make money 🤔"
