There were several people that will be helpful and surround you once you reach. One tried to sell me this sock mentioning that it's required to keep my feet warm. But it unnecessary to buy from them - cost was RMB 20 and it was just a pair of normal wool sock! Personally I also felt that the helmet and goggles was no necessary but they gave it to me without informing the price. I took it as I felt it was necessary, but later realised it wasn't so.
One tip, ask for the price before taking any equipment you need. The counter will issue a receipt stating the equipment and price you required before you make any payment.
Generally a relatively nice place for skiing and instructors were of a great help. We had a driver that drove us there and was of a great help for us along the way."
