"Found this on Google, within a pleasant walk of Wang Fu Jing area where our hotel was.
I emailed with only a day's notice, Chef Zhao was able to set up a Xiao long bao class for just the two of us the next day.
Bonus was the location, off a quiet residential street, charming, shabby chic.
Kitchen was properly set up and we had a hands on experience making the filling and dough under Chef Zhao's patient & expert tutelage. I would definitely recommend his classes.
Would like to post some pictures but can't find icon link."

"Loved it - we went to a market which was very interesting and the chef pointed out and explained lots of little things you wouldn't notice on your own. In the kitchen we learned how to use the big giant Chinese butcher's knife to cut everything from meat to ginger and how to properly use the wok. The dishes were absolutely delicious - some of the best I ate in Beijing including restaurants! You get to keep the recipes as well to take home and practice. I'd highly recommend this to anyone."
