"Stepping into the Jade Buddha Temple felt like walking into another world, far away from the noise of Shanghai’s streets. The two jade Buddha statues, especially the seated one with its gentle expression, are truly mesmerizing. I found myself lingering in the courtyards, breathing in the incense and watching locals quietly pray. Even though there were plenty of visitors, there was still a sense of calm. If you can, come early in the morning, that’s when the temple feels most peaceful."

The temple is home to two stunning jade Buddha statues, which are beautifully crafted and awe-inspiring. The intricate details and serene expressions of the statues are simply mesmerizing.
The scent of incense fills the air, adding to the peaceful ambiance of the place.

The staff were welcoming and respectful, and I appreciated how well-maintained the temple was. Overall, the Jade Buddha Temple is a must-visit for anyone interested in Chinese culture, history, and spirituality. I highly recommend taking the time to explore this beautiful and peaceful location!"

Hanna Harper

"The temple is huge and there are so many Buddha and god statues. And if you walk deeper down the temple, there lays the jade Buddha. They also sell vegan meal but I didn’t try since I didn’t know and already had my meal. They also sell some snacks and ice-cream.

There is also places for you to sit and relax and feel the vibe of the whole temple and calmness. I would think this is less touristy compared to the Jingan temple. A lot of people introduce me to Jingan temple but not this. I think this is underrated. What’s more this is free entrance. Highly recommend."
