What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Visitors appreciate the historical and cultural significance of the Yellow River, recognizing its role as the cradle of Chinese civilization and the ongoing efforts to protect its environment. However, some find the park's facilities to be basic and in need of improvement, particularly the restrooms, which can be unpleasant.
""How nice it is to be able to see, hear, smell and touch the River that supports the human race and nurtures its civilization!" That was my initial thought when I first touched the River water in April, 2016. Then, a heavy came to my mind: "What legacy could I contribute to the human race!""

"This park is located on the banks of the Yellow River. We took a bus from Jinan city to get there. After getting off the bus and walking to the riverside, we saw a floating bridge. After crossing the floating bridge, we saw the Yellow River Forest Park sign. There was a toll booth at the floating bridge, but it was free to cross on foot. We paid at the entrance to the forest park and entered. The inside of the park was very shabby. The toilets were integrated with nature and were indescribable. The toilets in these places in China stink just like anywhere else. We took a deep breath and held it before entering, but we couldn't hold it all the way, so we ended up breathing in and smelling the stench.
Walking along the river, the sand was fine and dusty. It was easy to understand the origin of the color of the Yellow River."
