While some find the climb challenging, the overall experience is highly recommended for its natural beauty and accessibility.
"very nice place for walk, it's free and comfortable to get. Take bus number 10,36,52-costs 2元 for a ride, be careful-there is no change in a bus. There is electronic screen with all stops in a bus, get off when see "春光"- chun guang. Park is big and there is such great panoramic view on all 3 bays of Sanya. Prepare hat and bottle with water, make you get up on 2k of stairs -it's no big deal even for cute little domestic children."

"Nice trail. It takes about 45 minutes to get to the observation deck. Nice view of Sanya city. The monkeys are a nice surprise for the walk. Highly recommend for families with kids. (Bring some sliced fruits to feed them. Don't feed them bread or candies. )"

"My absolute favourite in Sanya. Found it by chance 6 years ago and fell in love!
Meet the nature on the tip of your… toes - be ready to walk a lot (I spent 4 hours there and returned to hotel way after the sunset)!
Another name of the place is a park of thousands steps!
Bonus: gorgeous views, music and relaxing not so touristic spot.
It’s free of charge and a bit wild (no shops, no circulating buses inside - walking is the only way to get around there). Buses 9, 36, 53 should help you to get there - be sure you don’t miss the entrance gate!"
