What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Visitors praise Zhaoling Tomb for its historical significance and the expansive, beautiful Beiling Park. Many appreciate the Qing dynasty architecture and the relative lack of crowds compared to other major attractions. Some note the need for separate tickets and the long distances within the park.
"The Zhao Mausoleum consists of 2 parts - the park and the tomb which both require ticket for entry. The is mostly consist modern entertainment facilities, like 4-person bike. The Tomb part is more historical and I would recommend to pay for the ticket to enter. The actual tomb where Hong Taiji is buried is not open to the public. However, please be informed that the toilets are rather far and isolated."

"Huge tomb complex of Qing emperor. Can pay for buggy ride both ways, quite far to walk."

"I prefer this site much more than the Mukden Palace in downtown Shenyang. Expansive gardens surround the mausoleum, and some great Qing period architecture. I highly recommend this place to anyone visiting Shenyang"
