What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Visitors praise Shichahai for its authentic hutong experience, beautiful lake scenery, and vibrant nightlife. The convenient location and helpful staff at local hotels are frequently highlighted. Some minor issues include dust in rooms and the need for clear price negotiation for tours.
"秋国四合院酒店. Lovely refurbished courtyard hotel, 5mins walk from the nearest metro, 20mins walk to a nearby shopping street and near to places of interests. Homely and hearty breakfast (alternates between 2 set variations)!! Our family booked the loft/Twin/Triple Room and it was comfortable and pleasant! (Room was alittle dusty from the curtains, especially for the loft as the height of the space probably makes it hard to clean daily, showers were nice and spacious enough.
Best part of the stay was the exceptional service we received from the moment we made the booking till we left for the airport. Reception was very very helpful, attentive and responsive to queries and requests, will go above and beyond to ensure our stay was good!! 🥰
Had some issues booking via Ctrip (携程), and the staff redirected us to their hotel's mini program on wechat. Made it easier to enquire and make special arrangements, do deposit payment with wechat."
