"It's always nice to come back and see the city from the old walls. Even riding the bike or just walking on it. There are also some small souvenir stores, ice cream, tea, or coffee stores. Toilet as well. It's a nice window to ancient China through the old architecture that remains after many demolitions from the last century during the Cultural Revolution. Thank you🤩"

"It is a wonderful place with Rich history, an exemplary defence buildup and structure. Wood work, central hall, top view, angle, visibility, directions and height with Archer points adds to the beauty and strength of the wall. The length of the wall in itself was chrismatic and valuable. The width of the wall was exemplary, wide enough to run multiple routes, the location and directions of the Xian City wall even in the current era is dynamic, valuable and preserving ancient history and rich Culture."

"Beautiful view of preserved gate ay night.
As we didn’t rent any bike, we could only manage to walk here from the South Gate (Yongningmen), which about 3km.
One should start touring on the wall around 4-5pm so you could experience and see the amazing views of inside and outside of the wall in the daylight, and also during the night when all the lights and lanterns turned on.
But for me the most spectacular view cames during the blue hours."
