What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Guests rave about The Linden Centre's peaceful atmosphere and gracious hosts, highlighting it as a serene escape in Xizhou. While some found the price point not extraordinary and noted minor room amenity issues, the overall experience is highly praised for its cultural immersion and desire to return.
"I loved staying at the Linden Centre. The hosts were extremely gracious, services very knowledgeable and friendly. The rooms were great and the local area was super interesting to explore. They even organised some tours from the hotel. I hope I can come back again."

"Location ok but if you are expecting something out of the ordinary for this price and a difference due to American ownership you won’t be wowed. I would otherwise go with Chinese hosts/competition. Access by taxi was not convenient - had to drag luggage last 150 meters. Room does not have fridge. Lights in room were not fully functional. Quite, clean…. I have lived in China for 12 years and traveled with my Chinese wife so I speak with experience that more should be expected."
David Wach
"By far, this is the most peaceful place I have been to in my five years in China, a respite from the enveloping chaos that can, at times, surround. The Linden Center, and the surrounding area are a magical place full of love and light. Although I was technically here for a work assignment, it felt more like a vacation for my mind, body, and soul, and for sure, I will be back..."
