Chumathang Hot Springs are lauded as a stunning natural wonder with unique therapeutic waters, offering an unforgettable experience amidst breathtaking landscapes. However, many visitors are disappointed by the lack of maintenance and the presence of litter, which detracts from the site's inherent beauty. Despite this, the raw, natural charm and the unique geothermal activity make it a memorable stop for adventurous travelers.

"Chumathang Hot Spring is truly a hidden gem with its natural beauty and unique hot springs. The experience of soaking in the thermal waters amidst such stunning landscapes is unforgettable and offers a special kind of relaxation you won’t find in many places.

However, despite its charm, the area is unfortunately not well-maintained. The surroundings are covered with rubbish, which really detracts from the experience and the natural beauty of the springs. It’s a shame to see such a unique spot not kept up with basic cleanliness. With better upkeep and care, this could easily become a more enjoyable and pristine destination."

Walking through marshy wetland to reach this Hot Springs in itself is a good experience. Sometimes it goes upto your knee length."

Aravind Gaikwad

"Experiencing the hot water stream was something truly unique, but it’s disheartening to see how the place is being polluted by nearby hotels and commercial setups"
