"Within the Sierra de La Macarena National Natural Park in Colombia, this exquisite river is aptly nicknamed the River of Five Colours. Caño Cristales is considered one of the most beautiful waterways in the world and for several months each year, it dazzles with interchanging hues of pink, green, yellow, blue and black. This natural display occurs thanks to an endemic aquatic plant that changes colour when exposed to sunlight."

"The Caño Cristales is a famous river located in la macarena/meta for the multiple colors it has produced by specific algae of name Macarena Clavijera. I travel in motorcycle from Bogota to la macarena for the way that lead to vista hermosa to caño cristales. The way is full of mud during winter but all the people of the hamlets is very helpful and attentive to help travelers because this way is extreme.
During the trip I cross Vista hermosa, pinalito, santo domingo, el chorizo, el alto del avión, caño yarumales, caño indio to finish in caño cristales and never paid for enter there and totally recommend to know this place"
