Reviews Summary

Visitors consistently praise Cristo Rey for its breathtaking panoramic views of Cali and the surrounding mountains, especially during sunset. The ongoing renovations are noted to enhance the modern feel of the site, and the knowledgeable guides offer enriching historical and ecological insights. While booking in advance is crucial due to high demand, the experience is widely considered a must-do in Cali.

"So this place has just opened two days before we went there. By the time we wanted to register and entry it was completely sold out. However, upon arrival we were allowed to wait for one of the entry times (9:00), 12:00, or 15:00. We almost left and came back for the one at 12:00. Don’t leave! We were rewarded by entering an hour earlier and with a 1/10 the size of the crowd! It was a beautiful tour given by a very knowledgeable volunteer who focused on the history of the region and the flora and fauna of the area! It was lovely and the views are breathtaking. The trail gives you boards with history and the final stop is the monument to Cristo Rey. The view to the city and the 360 view to the area is beautiful."
