"It was awesome trekking experience, got 2 Colombian friends on the way and they helped with English translation throughout the trek and made it pleasent, enriching & unforgettable experience. 4 types of entry packages were available, they explain it in Spanish & give small trekking bag with water bottle, snacks, disposable rain coat while buying ticket. Locker facility available. Waterfall was huge, seems it's one of longest or the longest waterfall in Colombia. Being in nature was amazing, during the trek, a butterfly stick with my head and travelled along, such a unique & happy day."

"Actually the water discharge is quite low as compared to lower waterfall but the hiking route is fascinating. The total distance is 3.4km in return. I think it is suitable for children above 6-7 years old."

"I did the hike with my kids 11 yo, 7 yo and 3 yo. My kids are used to do hiking but we were not prepared for the mud. I saw people in rain boots, hard to hike in but I guess the best option. Driving from Bogota to the there was one of the hardest part. My 3 yo got nauseated from the sharp curves. The $40,000 entrance fee wasn’t clear in the website. It’s definitely no toddler or senior friendly. We arrive around 9:00 am to the ticket place and the restaurant was not serving breakfast. They had delicious empanadas. We reserved lunch at the Cuban restaurant. For fit people it is worth it to make it . It’s breathtaking. The landscape it’s beautiful. It took us 1.5 hrs getting from the ticket place to the fall."
