What other very well preserved prehistoric creatures do you know? (Except ice age animals)
The Kronosaurus in Villa de Leyva, Boyacá (Colombia) is amazing, I have visited many times and it still amazes me, even though before the museum was built some parts got lost it is still quite intact, aside there are multiple other fosils of smaller animals well…

Reviews Summary
Visitors consistently praise the El Fossil Museum for its stunning Kronosaurus fossil, displayed in its original discovery location. The museum's modern architecture and well-preserved smaller marine fossils also receive high marks. While some wish for more extensive English information, the overall experience is described as fascinating, educational, and well-maintained, with friendly and passionate staff.
"What a fascinating museum! It was built on the actual location where this magnificent fossil was found. At around 8000 feet of elevation, imagine finding a huge sea-dwelling creature's skeletal fossil!
The guided tour would have been neat, but it was in Spanish (I could use the practice). But each display included English descriptions as well. It only took us an hour to go through the whole exhibit, so plan your trip around other activities. There was souvienir shopping there as well."

"A really excellent place outstanding exhibits the main one being the skeleton which remains in the same place as discovered. The Museo El Fósil (The Fossil Museum has the world’s most complete Kronosaurus fossil, a massive marine reptile from the Cretaceous period, over 110 million years old and about 7 meters long. The Kronosaurus fossil is displayed in situ, exactly where it was discovered in 1977. The museum also features a collection of smaller marine fossils, including ichthyosaurs, ammonites, and other prehistoric sea creatures. The museum is located 5–6 km west of Villa de Leyva, on the road to Santa Sofía. Accessible by bus or a one-hour walk from town. It is also wheelchair accessible."

"What a beautiful little museum. The new building is just stunningly integrating the key attraction of the museum and provides very interesting facts and fossils. There could be a tiny but more for non-fluent Spanish speakers. But it's a great place to visit."
