Reviews Summary

Visitors often praise the stunning natural beauty and abundant wildlife, especially the scarlet macaws, and enjoy the relaxing pool areas. However, some reviews highlight issues with inconsistent service, maintenance problems like broken elevators, and occasional water supply disruptions.

"The place was amazing. The room was absolutely wonderful with a beautiful view, i really appreciated the washer and dryer. The entire place itself, the pool and everything was just beautiful.
However, the service was bs. The AC kept leaking water and we couldn't close the window properly, but no one cared.
One day, they suddenly turned off the water without warning. And when they turned it back on, we had no warm water left.
Reported it multiple times, it took some actual convincing to get an e-mail address to reach out about this, because administration was "just not responsible for it".
Each time we pressured them to do something, someone said they would check it out, (the few times they actually replied) but absolutely nothing happened.
This is not what we payed for. We spent a week there with only cold water. If i wanted to shower with cold water only i would book something cheaper."

"My (travelling) son was robbed in your town today. He lost all his belongings and was in distress as he didn't feel safe in your neighbourhood anymore. He needed a place to eat something and try to communicate with the Belgian embassy. I advised him to drive to a 4 star hotel, have a drink in the lobby, eat something and come to rest while trying to reach the embassy. You guard refused him to drive up to the hotel because he was no guest and send him away. I hope your hotel will have an encounter with karma in the future."

"It was amazing to stay here when we vacationed to Jaco. The pool was great, spent time there everyday. It was nice that it wasn't directly in the city, so it was quite. And the wild birds like the scarlet macaws live right in the wooded area near the condos. We saw them everyday. Walking distance to everything like the local shops and restaurants. Very close to the beach, easy to get to. We didn't venture out too late at night, but was very safe. Definitely would recommend this condo to anyone wanting to travel here."
