"I went to Punta Leona Hotel it was a nice experience the place is beautiful the only problem is the way to get there by car or any means of trasportation is a danger drive cause there is a bridge about to collapse , 30 minutes sandy road , if they are making money in taxes the municipality should be fixing this problems .!!!!"

"American citizen trying to do business in Jaco. I have been assaulted 3 times in the course of business, have had over $2000 stolen from me from locals. All the municipal does istry and collect taxes and fees from property and business owners and provides little to know services. No police protection, no reasonable medical emergency services, trash everywhere, human faces on sidewalk backing up from drains, psychotic mental patients continually harassing people on street, no apparent mental health system. Maybe ok to visit for a short time but a horrible place to live. The men shown are government workers who assaulted and injured me immediately after this picture was taken.
