What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Visitors find Visovac Island to be a peaceful and historically significant detour within Krka National Park. The serene atmosphere of the monastery and the scenic boat ride are frequently praised. However, the limited time on the island and potential crowds can detract from the experience for some.
"Monastary located midst of krka national park. It is only accessible by boat. Boat tickets are available at the reception desk within the park. Boats start around 11 am. We took the first boat and there were like 10 people. The time spent on the island is 30 mins. The whole excursion lasts around 2 hours. However when we returned around 13:00, the boarding point was packed. So it is advisable to take an early boat if you prefer a relatively quiet journey."
