Reviews Summary

Visitors consistently praise Grapceva Cave for its historical significance and the engaging guided tours. The accompanying visits to Humac village and local production sites are also highly appreciated. Some find the hike to the cave challenging, especially in heat, and note the limited access days.

"Can only be visited with a guide either on set days or private tour. Private tours at 60 Euros for 2 hours very reasonable. Includes also visit of the village Humac and lavender distillery. The guide knew a lot of local history, plants etc. Worthwhile. As it requires a 20-30 minute walk to cave not recommended mid-day when it's too hot."

Florian Bieber

"Nice daily trip! Highly recommended to do this tour with local guide. We were there with kids 3 and 4 yo and we had a lot of fun."

Alenka Solje

"If you want to go to this cave, you have to come on Monday, Wednesday or Friday at 9.00 to Konoba (restaurant) in Humac (nearby village) to get a guide. The road to Humac is ok and there is a free parking space near the village. The guided tour (50 kn adult person, 30 kn kids) includes a tour of the etno village Humac, its houses and the church. You also will see how wine and lavander oil gets produced, which I found interesting. Then, you go for a 30 min walk to grapceva cave. The last 20m of the path is quite steep, so take your good shoes with you. Also this path requires some slight degree of fitness/endurance, but nothing extreme. Lastly, make sure you take water with you. Overall, it was a very nice experience."
