What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Visitors praise the amazing natural beauty of Grabovača Cave, describing it as enormous and awe-inspiring. The scenic walking trails and the unique Hobbit Garden are also popular highlights. However, some find the cave's lighting insufficient, the paths slippery and steep, and the guide's explanations brief for non-Croatian speakers, making it less ideal for very young children.
"The site is amazing, nice trekking paths around, playground and view point. We came for the cave visit and we bought 2 tickets and the information center, no need to make reservations before your visit. You must walk 650m before reaching the entry of the cave and not a flat path take your time to do this part and the meeting point in downstairs nearby the cave entrance. The guide was ok but she told us she have a big group with Croatian visitors and she will reply to our questions. We felt a little bit disappointed because she did not explain all information to us as the Croatian group, easy to understand the explanation for us were super short. You must take one jacket and one pocket light m, inside the light is not enough and it’s cold. We did lot of visits of caves and this one is big but not very safe and lot of parts are slippery. I don’t recommend this visit with young kids.
Price 14 euros per adult in August 8, 2025"
