"This is the obvious starting point for sightseeing in Rijeka if arriving by bus as overlooks the bus station. It's a magnificent church with a lovely front carved stone facade and secondary Chapel beneath the main church building.
Whilst not very old compared to some, it has a long history of construction between 1907 and 1929 when the main part of the church was completed.
I was particularly drawn to the beautiful framed wood carvings of biblical scenes hung on the walls inside the church."
