Went to a computer history museum in Reijka Croatia and saw these old ThinkPads!
Went to the Peek & Poke computer museum during my stay in Croatia today and saw these beauties. Also as an added bonus there is a picture of the first 1GB HDD from 1980. Very cool place!

Can somebody help a Dutch tourist staying in Croatia?
Hey there! I’m a tourist from The Netherlands and I’m currently residing in Vrsar, a village on the Istrian coast. I just got here a few days ago and I’m looking for fun things to do, new foods to try out and new people to meet. So far Croatia has been really beautiful, but I’d…

What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Visitors find the Natural History Museum Rijeka to be a surprisingly pleasant and affordable experience, especially for families. While it's noted as being small and having exhibits primarily in Croatian, its air-conditioned environment and engaging children's activities make it a worthwhile visit for its low cost. The aquariums and geology exhibits add to its charm.
"Quite nice but suprisingly small. The whole experience took up about half an hour but it was really quiet (we were the only visitors on a sunday afternoon), clean and the exposition was nice with some modern touches (the "cave" room with the wooden paneling)."

"For 3 eur(or was it 2?), it's just a great place I would say.
Turtles is a bonus from me, you can find them just in a park near the museum, free of charge, you'll find it in a pool"

"First of all we tried to escape the heat in the city and we’re lucky to find a museum with darker and cooler rooms, best choice for hot weather days! We enjoyed being there with our child (3 yrs) while she was exploring all rooms for hours and found a lot to play. Here’s to mention the sand box for digging up bones and the under water room with mattress floor. For little children some rooms might be scary at first sight because of the darkness and the exhibits, but after all we explored all rooms with interested questions. There’s also a children corner with books and drawing stuff.
I was amazed about the lovely exhibition designs that most museums would be jealous of (but not of the exhibits). Since we were almost the only visitors during that time I hope they can develop further.
Thanks for a great afternoon there!"
