What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Bene Beach is praised for its natural beauty, abundant shade, and clear waters, offering a more tranquil experience than other Split beaches. However, visitors should be prepared for rocky shores and the presence of sea urchins, making water shoes essential. The on-site cafe receives mixed reviews.
"A slight walk through the pine trees takes you to Kupaliste Bene, our personal favourite beach of the whole trip! With outdoor toilets, a shower and easy access to the sea, we would definitely recommend. With a combination of shade & sun, it’s the perfect beach spot just a 5 minute drive away from Split Old Town."
Lucy Baker
"This was our favourite beach in Split. A bit far from the city, reachable only by bus 12, with a lot of shadows during the whole day. There is a cafe that offers food (until 5PM) and drinks, sunbeds (20€), changing room and toilets. We visited it at the beginning of July and it was never crowded. Beach access could be tricky, so it would be handy to have water shoes :) Although, there is a small part with sand, which is ok for kids, too."
Nevena Milovanovic
"Don’t make the same mistake that me and my friends did. It was super beautiful beach so we all jump in and 4/5 people got stung by sea urchins. Those little devils are everywhere."
