Reviews Summary
Borik Beach is appreciated for its clear waters, beautiful sunset views, and the convenience of nearby restaurants. However, visitors often find the parking fees steep and the rocky, sometimes slippery, seabed requires caution. Some reviews also mention occasional concerns about water quality.
"Nice beach, next to the sea. The rocks are not so sharp with a aquashoes but a little slippery. The floor does not lower continually due to the rock on it. Sometimes it is deeper sometimes it is higher. In my opinion this is a place is for those who can swim safely.
Sometimes fishes swim under your legs, giving a whole different vibe.
The sunset is amazing, and in the morning a swim in the salty water hits different.
Not to mention, it is free, you just have to pay for sunbeds and umbrellas, but these are optional."

"We arrived last Wednesday (27.08.2025) at the beaches parking spot around 15:00 CET and still had to pay the fixed parking fee of 20 EUR for the whole day. Indeed, you can look for a different parking spot, etc. but with three kids in a car looking for something nearby, etc squeezes you into a bad position. Overall this confirms the general impression, that croatian holidays trying to get the most out of you. Agree, as long as people are paying it, it works, so the rather the question, if croatia will be a destination for me in the future. Beach itself is rather under average, nothing too special and the sandy area has rather the smell of water which was standing too long..."

"Long, shallow beach. The water gets shoulder deep for an adult about 100-150m out from shore. Clear water (not as clear as some, but more clear than many). Parking is €20 if you choose hotel parking, or you can park farther away and walk. We brought our own umbrella and chairs. There are some to rent, but I’m not sure how much the cost. Showers and changing area available. The local restaurant is good and great prices. Would recommend to anyone in Zadar."
