What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Zadar Riva is praised for its stunning sunset views and the unique Sea Organ and Greeting to the Sun installations. Many enjoy the vibrant atmosphere, especially during festivals, and find the promenade perfect for leisurely strolls. However, some reviews mention inconsistent food quality and service at certain restaurants, with a few travelers feeling overcharged or receiving cold food.
"We ate here not once but twice during our visits to Zadar. This business serve different traditional meat dishes straight from the spit and the kitchen, including peka and it is simply so good! Worth the visit and drive out of Old Town!"
Bree Gashparac
"First of all, I cannot recommend this place. As someone who lives in Croatia, I'm ashamed of their behavior. If such unethical people exist in a country like this, it's disgusting to be in such a beautiful place. They thought I was a tourist because I spoke English, but they didn't know I lived here. My guests and I were served cold lamb. I saw freshly cooked lamb, but they didn't offer it to us. My guests and friends were very upset. When I asked him why the lamb was so cold, he said it was just fresh. Ridiculous! I've been to dozens of countries, and I haven't had hot lamb yet? It's a disgrace! Tourists, beware! They think you're only here once, and they behave in such a disgusting way that no country should have! We still gave a 10% tip when we left. Although we didn't receive good service, we respect tipping culture. By the way, I'll spread the word about your wonderful differentiated service on my social media. Don't forget, your attitude wasn't this bad on your first day! You've forgotten your original intention. I don't recommend it. The people here have a problem with their quality."

"Really good meat plate and Zagreb schnitzel for normal prices in the area. We didn't have to wait too long. The toilets were exceptionally clean."
