"Honestly the worst experience we ever had in a hotel. The rooms worth maybe 50usd/night instead of 220 that we paid on the website. The staff did the best they could for the resources and experience that they probably had. I am really surprised that there is the Melia logo next to this place.. we arrived and they had no info about our reservation, the reception was the hotel bar, they informed us in the afternoon that there was no water supply in the hotel and they suggested that we stay in a downgraded option called “perla” without any refund or sth. We insisted to stay in San Carlos, otherwise we would have stay in this even worse Perla hotel.."

And it's where I'll likely hit up for a few nights next time I come into Cienfuegos. It's beautiful. The rooms are very clean. The views are fantastic. And lastly, the staff were extremely helpful in answering my questions and taking me on a tour. It seems like they really took pride in that they were working there. I'm looking forward to my stay there."
