When we wanted to pay with card, the card reading wouldn't connect, been told to pay 13 US Dollars, as we had no Dollars left, we payed with cuban pesus and the bill was a crippling £ 174 . I certainly won't ever step into that hotel ever again."

Hemingway stayed here often in 1936/7 and wrote a lot while chilling in room 511. This was my favorite place in Havana. Highly recommend. We will stay here on our next visit for sure."
