"Most do in Havana to understand Cubans culture. Nice place. Important to have a guide visit (3 more CUC Is worthed to understand)"

Gabriela Mendoza

"Visited this place when I was a child many years ago and I had a great experience. Almost four decades later, I walked though the door and the first thing I encounter is a "lady" in what looked like a uniform, running at me screaming "ticket al lado" ticket al lado" while pointing to the side building. Sad. "The best Martí left for the world is not this house or in this house" so I thought to myself while I walked out the door and to the dirty but enchanting streets of Old Havana."

"......How surreal it is to walk and wonder around the house in which the “Apostle” of the Cuban Revolution was born in January 1853! The place is well kept and right now it is been repainted and we had to tread nice-lii during our visit! Almost everywhere you walk around Havana you will see statues of this Great Icon as Fidel Castro always said that it was this man who inspired him to continue and complete the struggle! It is in the Old part Havana west and it’s a must visit when in Cuba...."
