"Impressive Basilica from the early 16th century. Splendid color of the roof; the light blue dominates the ceiling inside.
The nicest church in Santiago."
Oliver K
"Simply the most representative building out there! Unfortunately Santiago de Cuba suffers tremendously from a hunger and poverty and if you go there you meet to have a strong stomach! The whole City is just one Big ruin… apart from the Bacardi house and this a bit posh area! The main square is a heart of the City but unfortunately there’s not much to do or to see! I hope that something gonna happen and Santiago gonna get a chance to stand up strong again! This Cathedral is beautiful and if you’re there you can’t miss this!"
Mate Auck
"This church had been rebuild a few couple of times. It has be destroyed by from pirates, and earthquakes. Make sure you are covered when u are attending this holy place."
