"It was a close walk from our hotel, Laguna Azul - 25 mins, and to the caves down the road. It was a wonderful nature walk, ruined by mosquitos. I wanted to stop and admire the scenery more but I could only stand the onslaught for so long. If you go during the mosquitos aren't as bad or wear mosquito proof clothing, this is a wonderful walk. The path is some what a mystery to follow, but I liked that. For $5 it was worth it."

"Gorgeous trail filled with diverse plants and the occasional lizard if you keep an eye out. The staff was friendly and helpful. It was not busy. The trail itself has lots of limestone and exposed tree roots so it is best to wear closed-toed shoes. Fyi, the end of the trail leaves you at a sidewalk by the side of the road."
