Reviews Summary

Visitors find Cueva del Indio to be an interesting and beautiful natural attraction, particularly noted for its unique rock arches and subterranean river boat ride. While some find the experience a bit short, the natural ambiance and geological formations are consistently praised. Safety concerns regarding coastal conditions have been raised, emphasizing the need for caution.

"A very interesting cave to explore in western Cuba, near Viñales. You go for about 200 meters and then take a boat to explore the cave further as it is covered with water. The depth of the water is between 2 to 7 meters, depending where you are. If you come on a tour from Havana, it is normally a part of it."

Reza Sattarzadeh Nowbari

"A nice cave where you can take a boat ride. An interesting sight. The entrance fee for tourists, according to Cuban tradition, is significantly higher than for locals."

Robur888

"This place reminded me of the cave at Rudy Falls in Tennessee!
The only difference was this cave had a pretty cool boat ride at the end, and there wasn't a line of people coming back the opposite way like the cave in Tennessee!
I also liked the little water at the end of the cave! It would have been nice if the river that is the deepest inside the cave could be followed further down the stream once it exit the cave!
There is also a big waterfalls inside the cave just like the one at Rudy Falls, but it's not lit like Ruby Falls!
This was a nice outing!"
