What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Finca Agroecológica El Paraíso is highly praised for its breathtaking sunset views over the Viñales Valley and its delicious, organic farm-to-table Creole cuisine. Visitors love the unique 'Anti-Stress' drink and the tranquil, dreamy ambiance, especially after dark. While the tasting menu offers great value, some found certain dishes and desserts to be average.
"We visited this extraordinary family-run farm on top of the hills just before sunset. It started raining when we arrived and watching the low clouds over the hills with the sunset as backdrop was what defined the name of this place!! It was calming, refreshing and beautiful.
The food was simple and soulful and everything was organic.
It is a farm to table service with the vegetables tasting as unadulterated as they looked. Food was plentiful and we strolled through the farm.
The lights came on at dark and it felt dreamy. The place gets busy with tourists and you can try their "anti-stress" drink- a recipe of herbs, juice and alcohol."

"Couple of kilometres from Vinales city centre but worth to go here. You can eat some kind of tasting menu composed exclusively with the farm's own products.
In the evening should stay longer to enjoy sunset over the Valley of Silence, sipping some drinks."

"One of my favorite places in Cuba! Vinalles is a beautiful value and the restaurant El Paraiso definitely worths 5stars. We don't have any other reference since both days that we stayed in Vinalles ate at El Paraiso. The idea of this place: you pay 15€(or $) and they will serve you the following: a unique very thin and crunchy wrap, vegetable soap, cucumber, green beans and lettuce style grass, beetroot and green peppers, rice with beans, Cuban style pork, chicken drumsticks, lobster in tomatoe sauce and coffee + desert (vanilla rice pudding or jam with cheese) at the end! The food comes with a big bottle of water 1.5L. If you need more food is without any additional charge, but drinks you pay! The food was very good, some dishes were better e.g. Lobster others not that much e.g. lettuce style grass. The desert average (also really small portion) and we didn't try the cocktails. .. The atmosphere was amazing and the service OK.
Pro tip: Do not forget to lick lobster's shell, the tastier thing that we had in Cuba"
