What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Visitors rave about Brionplein's vibrant cultural immersion, friendly locals, and delicious food. The proximity to the iconic Queen Emma Bridge and the colorful architecture of Otrobanda are major highlights. Some find the area can get crowded, especially when cruise ships are in port.
"This location is so full of culture!
It was a perfect first encounter as I got a chance to experience not only the location sites but the people, the culture, the music, the language, the soul... I can go on and on, but you'd have to go there to experience this feeling for yourself. The people are so friendly and welcoming! The food is so full of taste! So divine. The historical statues, art pieces, architectural designs and structures... the bridge!! Wooh!! It's quite something! We actually had a chance to stay at Brion Hotel which was another great encounter. Amenities were accessible and so was the taxi stand close by.
If you're lucky, a cruise ship would be visiting and then you'd be faced with a blanket of varying ethnicities and languages especially as we all walk across the very close, very popular, Queen Emma Bridge."

"The place is full of culture, located in Otrobanda next to the Queen Emma Bridge. A taxi stand, restaurants, and the Renaissance Mall are close by. One day, they put up a huge Curaçao flag, which was really beautiful, but a few days later, they replaced it with a smaller one, probably because of the wind."
Roland Viski
"Fun place to walk around, small shops and cafes in the area."
