"Get there early on a weekday and you will have the entire fort to yourself. You can climb all the way to the top. Be aware the road in has a lot of potholes but the area is well patroled by police. Safe and cool place to visit. Right before the best snorkeling at Tug Boat Beach."

"If you love historical structures… a visit is a must. Several stairs to access the Fort with a ladder to get to the top. Free to enter. Several cannons still in place. The cactus are incredibly impressive with their size and views of the bay were beautiful. We visited on a Saturday morning and only saw a handful of people.
