Reviews Summary
Visitors find the Cathedral of Thorns to be a unique and thought-provoking art installation, appreciating its creative use of natural materials and the integration of local art. While small, it offers a memorable experience, especially when combined with nearby attractions or during special nighttime events. Some note its compact size, suggesting it's a brief but impactful visit.
"This is a pretty small but cool art instalation. Will take most people maybe 20 minutes, then you're done looking around. But there's also an art gallery just next to it, plus it's in a park with a bunch of weird "found art" displays. I'd recommend going the once per month when they do nighttime events for maximum creepy factor."

"Interesting use for the many acacia thorns on Curacao. Impressive design has niches for individual artworks"

"Beautiful work of art. Very creative and invokes some deep emotions. The cathedral itself is not very large, and it's not really a labyrinth strictly speaking. However, there are art works scattered throughout the entire Cathedral, which makes this a very interesting stop. You should be able to get through the entire thing in about 15-20 minutes if you take your time.
This place is also near a few good restaurants, such as De Dames (breakfast) or Number Ten (lunch/dinner) as well as the Curacao distillery, so you can make a nice outing out of it. Break the monotony of going to beaches every day and take in some local culture. Highly recommend!"
