What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Finikoudes Promenade is a lively hub with a beautiful beach and plenty of dining options. While some find the beach sand less than ideal and exteriors of some establishments a bit dated, its convenient location, clear waters, and proximity to historical sites like the Medieval Castle make it a popular and enjoyable spot for many visitors.
"A large beach in area. Although the sea is clear, the beach has hard, pressed sand. It has many tourist shops, restaurants and bars. The sad thing is that many of them do not take care of their exteriors and this has the consequence of leaving you with a feeling of old and untended. On the edge it has a very nice castle that functions as a museum and if you go further into the narrow streets it has more picturesque places."

"Large beautiful beach with clear water, soft sand and many restaurants in the area.
Marina and buses are in close proximity."

"Love this beach, mostly because the water is so clean and cold. It’s not the biggest beach but it certainly has a lot going for it. The sand is kind of construction sand and there’s plenty of old cigarettes on the sand too. You can order and pay for drinks or snacks from the guys coming from the different cafes or just cross the street and find a heap of restaurants."
